This Court, vide order dated 14.06.2024 passed in MCRC No. 3619 of 2024, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Aashik Kol, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on three occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 14.06.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge, (NDPS Act), Bilaspur District-Bilaspur KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 15.05.2026 has requested for grant of six month’s additional time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that the case was received by the another Court on transfer on 24.04.2026. The record further reveals that two of the accused persons, namely Ravi and Aashik Kol, who were released on bail, have remained absent before the Court. Owing to their non-appearance, the proceedings could not progress in accordance with law and the trial could not be concluded within the stipulated period. In the aforesaid circumstances, the learned trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of six months for concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
