The present contempt case has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the opposite party no.2 for his wilful and deliberate violation of the order dated 11th February, 2025 passed in W.P.(C) No.6711 of 2024. 2. No one appears on behalf of the petitioners. 3. Mr. Kamal Kishore Singh, Circle Officer, Namkum (opposite party no.2) is physically present before this Court today. 4. Mrs. Nirupama, learned AC to Sr. SC-II, refers to paragraph nos.4 to 7 of the show cause affidavit dated 10th March, 2026 filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2, which read as under:- “4. That upon verification of the original records and mutation proceedings, necessary steps have been taken for compliance of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court. 2026:JHHC:7897 2 5. That the names of the petitioners have now been duly incorporated and updated in Register-II maintained at the Circle Office, Namkum, Ranchi with respect to the land appertaining to Khata No. 85, Plot No. 917, Mouza Hesag, P.S. Namkum, District Ranchi. 6. That the corresponding entries have also been updated in the online land records portal of the Department of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms, Government of Jharkhand, in accordance with the original Register-II. 7. That the relevant entries in Register-II now reflect the names of the concerned raiyats including the petitioners and the same has been done in compliance of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court. Copies of the relevant Register-II extracts and online land record printouts evidencing such compliance are being annexed herewith for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court.” 5. Learned AC to Sr. SC-II also produces copies of the rent receipts issued with respect to the land in question after correction in online entry. She, thus, submits that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied. 6. Having heard learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 and on consideration of the aforesaid statements made in the show cause affidavit dated 10th March, 2026, there is no need to further proceed in the matter.
