Learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the presence of the Petitioners may be dispensed with during the course of trial, and prays for disposal of the Criminal Petition accordingly. 3. Sri Venkata Saketh Roy Vydyula, learned Counsel for Respondent No.2, contends that the Petitioners have failed to appear before the learned Jurisdictional Magistrate for nearly six years, except on one or two occasions. It is further submitted that the calendar case pertains to the year 2018. 4. It is alleged against the Petitioners that they indulged in acts of cheating, forgery, and falsification of certain records. These are disputed questions of fact, which necessarily require evidence to be adduced before the learned Trial Court to establish the innocence or otherwise of the Petitioners. Hence, there are no merits in this petition for quashment of the proceedings. 5. In view of the above, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. The personal presence of Petitioner Nos.1 and 2/Accused Nos.1 and 2 shall stand 3 dispensed with, except on such dates as may be specifically directed by the learned Trial Court. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _________________________ Dr. Y. LAKSHMANA RAO,J Date: 05.02.2026 VTS
