Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28478 WP No. 10520 of 2026 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 18.02.2026 passed by Respondent No. 1 (Annexure–D) and the order dated 18.01.2024 passed by Respondent No. 2 (Annexure– C). The petitioner has, inter-alia, sought for a direction to Respondent No. 3 to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pertaining to the land in question. 4. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the findings recorded by both the respondent-authorities, it is evident that the land in question originally belonged to Rasul Sabi. The said Rasul Sabi had two children, namely Anwar Sab and Bibi Jan. The applicants and the private respondents before the respondent-authorities are the children of Anwar Sab and Bibi Jan. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28478 WP No. 10520 of 2026 5. In that view of the matter, both the respondent-authorities have upheld the order passed by Respondent No. 3 dated 15.07.2024 directing that the joint khata in respect of the land in question be continued in the names of the parties. 6. Having regard to the nature of the dispute and the rival claims of the parties, I do not find any infirmity or illegality in the impugned orders calling for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. It is open to the petitioner to establish his right, title, and interest over the property before the competent forum in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
