01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner fairly contended that even though the disputed amount pursuant to Annexure-2 has already been deposited on protest but the authorities are in the process to disconnect the power supply.

Learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Party- TPCODL on the other hand contended that the demand so raised in Annexure-2 is to be challenged before the Grievance Redressal Forum.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the submission made, this Court is of the view that the dispute involved under Annexure-2 is not amenable to the writ jurisdiction of this Court. It is open for the petitioners to challenge the demand if he is otherwise aggrieved even though the demanded amount has been deposited on protest, before the appropriate forum.
6. With the aforesaid liberty, the Writ Petition stands
disposed of.
