The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.222 of 2025, for offence registered under section 33(1)(C ) of Indian Forest Act, 2023, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, at Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case alleging that the petitioner was indulged in cultivation of poppy plants in forest land and she submits that the petitioner is a poor villager and has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.10 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegation of cultivation of poppy plants in the forest land is there. 5. Considering that the land is of the forest department and the same is not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner is said to be a villager and having no criminal antecedent, I am 2026:JHHC:21977 2 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, at Chatra, in connection with Complaint Case No.222 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
