Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.04.2026 in connection with Basishthanagar P.S. Case No.70/2025, corresponding to S.T. Case No.202/2026, registered under Sections 74, 75, 351 (2), 351 (3), 352 of BNS and charge sheet has been submitted under Sections 62/64, 74, 75, 351 (2), 351 (3), 352 of BNS, now pending in the court of learned C.J.M. Chatra. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is vague and the charge sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. The learned counsel submits that both the petitioner and the victim were in talking terms and only under the pressure of the guardian, the F.I.R. was lodged. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner of attempt to rape against the victim, who was preparing for home guard and had gone for practice early in the morning at 4.30 a.m. 5. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and 2026:JHHC:22047 2 considering the direct and specific allegations made against the petitioner in the F.I.R. itself, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
