Jiya Lal Bhardwaj, Judge (Oral) Learned Deputy Advocate General has produced a copy of communication dated 02.09.2026 issued by the Director, Directorate of School Education, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-1 and copy of office order dated 02.09.2026 passed by the Deputy Director of School Education (Elementary) Shimla, District Shimla, H.P., which are taken on record. 2. A perusal of the aforesaid office order reveals that as per mandate contained in the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the petitioner has been held entitled for 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2026:HHC:37542 2 notional increment from the next date of retirement for the purpose of calculating the pension admissible and not for the purpose of calculation of other pensionary benefits. 3. Since the respondents have now taken a decision, the mandate contained in the judgment dated 09.01.2026 passed in CWP No.785 of 2026, titled, Krishan Dutt Sharma vs. State of H.P. and others has been complied with and nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and the same is closed. However, the respondents are directed to revise the pension of the petitioner and send his case for sanction/approval to the office of the Accountant General, Himachal Pradesh within two months from today and thereafter the office of the Accountant General, Himachal Pradesh shall take further steps to revise the pension of the petitioner within one month thereafter. 4.
