On the ground that petitioner is putting up construction in violation of building bye-laws and the sanctioned plan, action has been issued against him by respondent no.2 (Greater Bangalore Authority). 2. The case of the petitioner is that, due to amended laws much of the construction that he intends to put up can be - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17432 WP No. 9601 of 2026 saved and he intends to make an application for regularization of the deviations, if any. 3. Learned counsel for respondent no.2 is agreeable for the said submission. 4. Hence, the following: ORDER (i) Petitioner is granted three weeks time from today to make the necessary application to respondent no.2; (ii) If such an application is made, respondent no.2 shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders; (iii) Till such a decision is taken, no precipitative action shall be initiated against the petitioner; (iv) Petitioner is also prohibited from putting up further construction on the property; - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17432 WP No. 9601 of 2026 (v) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
