Also heard Mr. Bhaskar Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect of Sessions Case No.136/2025, under Section 80 of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, Barpeta 3. Out of 13 (thirteen) witnesses, 3 (three) witnesses have already been Page No.# 2/2 examined. 4. I have gone through the evidence. 5. This Court of the opinion that the Trial Court should examine at least 5 (five) more independent witnesses. This Court is of the opinion that allowing the petitioner to be released on bail at this stage may hamper the early disposal of the case before the Trial Court. 6. Therefore, the present bail application is closed and disposed of. 7. The petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court again after examining 5 (five) more witnesses. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
