The present petition has been preferred by petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief(s) : “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call entire record pertaining to the case of petitioners. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to set aside of the impugned order dated 11.12.2025 ANNEXURE P/1 passed by the respondent no.2. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble court may also kindly be pleased to set aside of the impugned order dated 04.09.2025 ANNEXURE P/2 passed by the respondent no.3. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble court may also kindly be pleased to set aside the enquiry report dated 21.03.2024 ANNEXURE P/3 issued by respondent no. 5. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble court may also kindly be pleased to set aside the letter dated 13.05.2025 ΑΝΝΕXURE P/4 issued by respondent no. 4. 10.6 Any other relief or reliefs may also be granted to the petitioners which this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 3. Learned counsel for the the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed this writ petition against the order dated 11.12.2025 passed 3 by the Collector, District Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, whereby the Collector has upheld the order dated 04.09.2025 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Manendragarh in Revenue Case No.202505330300008/B-121/2024-25 in which, the petitioners have been directed to deposit amount against Ration Cards allegedly obtained by them illegally. Therefore, learned counsel submits that this petition may be admitted for hearing. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the State/respondents submits that the impugned order dated 11.12.2025 (Annexure -P/1) passed by the Collector, District Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur is appealable before the concerned Divisional Commissioner in view of the amendment dated 17th April, 2025 published in Gazette Notification, under Clause 18 (2) of the Chhattisgarh Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 (henceforth referred to as “the Order, 2016”). Thus, an efficacious alternative remedy is available to the petitioners, hence, the instant petition is not maintainable. 5. Clause 18 of the Order, 2016 provides as under : "18. य प ट@ +<न ई य</0तय<0त अ+ 3दए न त , % प ', ऐ+ 4 )* त , A+ & )* आBय +C, % न': '5 ।" 6. Perusal of aforesaid provision shows that the order passed by the Collector, District Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur in appeal is further appealable before the concerned Divisional Commissioner under Clause 18 (2) of the Order, 2016. Thus, an efficacious alternative remedy is available to the petitioners for redressal of their grievance. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain instant petition by invoking extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court, hence, the same is disposed of leaving liberty with the petitioners to file an appropriate appeal before the competent authority. 7. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. 8. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s). Sd/- (Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi) Judge Rukhsar
