JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 01-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. 2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in Jhandapur P. S. Case No. 21 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 316(5), 318(4), 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 3. As per F.I.R., these petitioners along with one co- accused Sudhanshu Shekhar embezzled the amount of Rs. 96,96,209/- from the fuel center of the informant. When informant asked about the same, co-accused Sudhanshu Shekhar assured to return the amount but later on, he fled away. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43145 of 2026(2) dt.01-07-2026 2/2 petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. It was co-accused Sudhanshu Shekhar who used to work in the fuel center of the informant and specific accusation of embezzlement is against him. Petitioners have been made accused in this case merely because petitioner no. 1 is wife and petitioner no. 2 is mother of co-accused Sudhanshu Shekhar. Petitioners are ladies and claim clean antecedent. 5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submits that there is specific allegation that these petitioners along with other co-accused embezzled huge amount from the fuel center of informant. 6. Considering the nature and gravity of accusation, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is refused. Navya/- (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) U T
