Notice to the other respondents is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. Learned HCGP raises a preliminary objection that the petitioner who is respondent No.1 before the Assistant Commissioner in proceedings bearing No.L.N.D.(CR).(G)2/2020 seeking to quash the proceedings initiated by respondent No.1 herein before the Assistant Commissioner. Respondent No.1 has filed the appeal invoking Rule 108-K read with Section 49 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 seeking cancellation of the grant said to have been made in favour of the petitioner herein. Learned HCGP submits that since respondent No.1 has approached the appellate authority seeking to cancel the grant, the petitioner cannot seek to quash the entire proceedings.
Upholding the submissions of the learned HCGP, the petition stands disposed of directing the petitioner to participate in the proceedings before the Assistant
