The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Silli P.S. Case No.34/2025, registered for the offence under Sections 281/109/121(1)/ 222/221/3(5) of the BNS, Rule 54 of JMMC Rules, 2004, Section 4(1)(A)/21 of MMDR Act, 1957 and Rule 9/13 of the Jharkhand Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2017, pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M. at Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the hywa truck. He next submits that the allegations are made that the police have tried to stop the vehicle and the driver has speed up the vehicle and fled away and, thereafter, hywa was seized by the police. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner is happened to be the owner of the vehicle and the said vehicle has been seized. 5. Considering that the petitioner was not present on the spot and the allegation is there against the driver of speeding up the vehicle and tried to ( 2026:JHHC:31 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 7453 of 2025 flee way and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. at Ranchi in connection with Silli P.S.
