In this writ petition, petitioner is assailing the order dated 17.01.2026 (Annexure-B) issued by respondent No.4, inter alia sought for a direction on the respondents not to enter the land belonging to the petitioner. 3. Having taken note of the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties, it is needless to state that - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28599 WP No. 17435 of 2026 the impugned order has been passed providing water facilities to the larger extent of the farmers in the vicinity of the Kabini River. In that regard, taking into consideration the object of the respondent - Government to fill up the tanks, during rainy season, I am of the view that no inference is called for in the writ petition as to quashing the order dated 17.01.2026 (Annexure-B). 4. However, insofar as the claim of the petitioner as to the compensation is concerned, as claimed in representation dated 07.03.2026 (Annexure-C), it is open for the respondent No.5 to consider the same in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
