Hajeera Banu Respondent(s) For Petitioner(s): Mr.A.Joel Paul Antony For Respondent(s): Mr.A.Oliraja, Government Advocate for R1 and R2 M/s.M.Aasha, Government Advocate (Crl. side) for R3 Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 2 to survey the petitioner's property and fix boundary stones in connection with properties in Survey No. 149/5B measuring 0-6.20 Ares situated at Karunkalakudi, Melur Taluk, Madurai District under the supervision of the 3rd Respondent for surveying the land by considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 27.01.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 2 to survey the petitioner's property and fix boundary stones in connection with properties in Survey No. 149/5B measuring 0-6.20 Ares situated at Karunkalakudi, Melur Taluk, Madurai District under the supervision of the 3rd respondent for surveying the land by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.There is dispute regarding the pathway between the petitioner and the 4th respondent co-owner. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking survey the property. 3.The first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the 4th respondent and conduct survey. In case the Tahsildar is seeking police protection, the third respondent shall provide police protection. Police. If the petitioner is seeking to lay any its boundary stone and is seeking separate police protection for laying the boundary stone, he is at liberty to pay the necessary charges to the police. The official respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures: • The official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis • After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction. • If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
