Virender Singh, Judge (oral) OMP No. 918 of 2026 By way of present application, indulgence of this Court has been sought to place on record the certified copy of order dated 25.8.2025, passed by the learned Arbitrator. 2 2. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is considered and allowed and the document is ordered to be taken on record. Arb. Case No. 129 of 2026 3. Petitioners have filed the present petition, under Section 29-A (4) (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’), for extension of time of mandate of arbitrator in Arbitration Case No. 103/2023, titled as, ‘Niranjan Singh Verma and others versus National Highway Authority of India and others’, arising out of Award No. 06/2023, dated 9.1.2023 of village Malyana. 4. Vide order dated 25.8.2025, the learned Arbitrator has held that the time limit for arbitral proceedings has elapsed, and as such, closed the proceedings. This order was passed on 25.8.2025, as per document, annexed with the petition, i.e. certified copy of the order dated 25.8.2025. 5. The copy of award was applied by the applicant on the same day, i.e. on 25.8.2025 and copy was prepared on 13.5.2026, and delivered on the same day. 3 6. Considering the said fact, as well as, averments made in the petition, time to decide the matter is extended by three months, from today. 7.
