In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the endorsement dated 24.02.2023 bearing No.TKT/B5/150/22-23 (Annexure - A), passed by the respondent No.3. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28290 WP No. 11849 of 2026 3. It is argued by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is seeking No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respondent No.3 to drill the well in the land bearing Survey No.2/2 of Sigehosur Village, Madalapur Post, Kushalnagar Taluk, Madikeri- Kodagu District. Accordingly, sought for interference of this Court. 4. Per contra, learned AGA states that the land in question claimed by the petitioner is a paisari land, which is belonged to the Government and therefore, sought to justify the impugned endorsement. 5. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on careful consideration of the writ papers would indicate that, there is a dispute as to the land in question and therefore, as the respondent authorities are claiming that the land in question bearing Survey No.2/2 is a paisari land belonging to the Government and therefore, I do not find any merit - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28290 WP No. 11849 of 2026 in the writ petition. Accordingly petition is dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to establish his right in respect of the subject land in a manner known to law.
