Since the issue involved in both the petitions is identical, therefore, these are being heard and decided together by this common judgment. However, for brevity, facts of WPSS No. 920 of 2026 along are being considered and discussed here. 5. Petitioner was appointed on a Class- IV post in District Cooperative Bank, Pithoragarh in the year 2022. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in all other Cooperative Banks similarly situate employees are being paid all benefits, while petitioners alone are being subjected to discrimination, and certain benefits are not being paid to them. 6. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to deduct the provident fund and other statutory contributions from the salary of the petitioner and further to provide all the consequential 2026:UHC:2287 benefits i.e. Medical, Earned Leave increment etc. to the petitioner as the similar situated employees of the other District Cooperative Bank are been given. 6. Mr. Anil K. Bisht, learned counsel appearing for the Bank submits that if petitioner(s) makes representation(s), the Competent Authority shall take decision thereupon, as per law, expeditiously. 7. The writ petitions are, accordingly, disposed of by permitting the petitioners to make representation(s) regarding their grievances to the Secretary/General Manager of the Bank. If petitioners make such representation(s) within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four months thereafter.
