In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023. In connection with Haroa P.S case no. 648 of 2025 dated 10/12/2025 under sections 329(4)/64/62/115(2)/351(2) of the BNS. In the matter of: Animesh Mondal ...Petitioner. Md. Shah Jahan Hassain Ms. S. Sultana …for the petitioner. Dr. Siddhartha Goswami Ms. Upasana Shaw Mr. Soumyadeep Das …for the de-facto complainant. Mr. Debabrata Chatterjee Mr. Tirupati Mukherjee …for the State.
1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the de-facto complainant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statement of the victim lady which clearly implicates the present petitioner. He also relies on the statements of the immediate post-occurrence witnesses including the daughter of the victim and local witnesses.

4. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
