By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- “10.1 It is therefore prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioner. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/order/direction in nature of mandamus whereby to direct to the Respondent Collector Balrampur Ramanujganj to consider and decide the representation dated 05.05.2026 submitted by the petitioner for regularization/grant of patta of government land of his possession bearing K.No. 449, 463, 448 admeasuring area 0.37, 0.80, 0.52 situated in village Sonhat and pass an order within a stipulated time granting patta to the petitioner in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/order/direction in nature of mandamus whereby to direct to the Respondent Collector Balrampur Ramanujganj not to demolish or vacate petitioner's possession in the government land bearing Kh. No. 449, 463, 448 admeasuring area 0.37, 0.80, 0.52 situated in village Sonhat during the pendency of the representation pending before Respondent Collector for consideration. 3 10.4 That, any other relief/reliefs, which this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, with cost of the petition, may also please be granted to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not challenging any particular order but is seeking a direction from this Court to respondent No. 2, to decide the representation dated 5.5.2026 within a time frame fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the pending representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. His pending representation will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the same at this stage directing the concerned respondent No. 2 to consider/decide the representation of the petitioner dated 5.5.2026 in accordance with law/rules/regulations and in an objective manner as expeditiously as possible within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Till then no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case. 4 7.
