Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with POCSO No. 09/2026 arising out of Adityapur P.S. Case No. 372/2025 for the offence registered under Sections 137(2), 96/65(1), 351(2), 61(2), 3(5) of BNS and Sections 4 & 6 of POCSO Act, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Seraikella. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 20.02.2026. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happens to the brother-in-law of the main accused, namely, Shivam Mahto and the victim aged 12 years eloped with Shivam Mahto and went to Chennai. The learned counsel submits that the only allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner helped the co-accused in the entire occurrence. 3. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that it has come on record that the victim also became pregnant on account of such incident. 4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
