The petitioner seeks for auto rickshaw permit. The petitioner had submitted an application on 23.03.2026 in Form CCPA for the said purpose with the respondent. Since the said application has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3. Mr.K.Surendran, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner’s application dated 23.03.2026, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s application. 5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s application dated 23.03.2026 seeking for grant of auto rickshaw permit in his favour to operate the vehicle within the radius of 30 kms. from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem, Salem District, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Writ Petition No.13357 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 This writ petition is disposed with the above directions.
