1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging defiance of the order dated 16.04.2026 passed by this Court in WPS No. 3169 of 2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the
order passed by this Court and after submission of the representation along with a copy of the said order, the concerned respondent authority has considered the representation of the petitioner and passed an appropriate order thereon. 2 not been redressed and, therefore, the respondents have committed contempt of the order passed by this Court.
3. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material available on record.

It appears from the order dated 16.04.2026 passed by this Court in WPS No.3169/2026 that no opinion was expressed on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the respondent authority was merely directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. It further appears from the communication/order dated 23.04.2026 that, upon receipt of the
order passed by this Court, the concerned authority considered the representation and passed an appropriate order. Thus, the direction issued by this Court stands complied with.
5. In view of the aforesaid compliance, no case for contempt proceedings is made out against the respondent and the same is dropped.
6. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands disposed of.
7. The Rule is discharged.
8. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any of the order, he may question the same before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. Sd/- (BIBHU DATTA GURU)
