ORAL ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent-revenue authorities to restore the names of the petitioners in the revenue records and reflect their names in the computerized RTC pursuant to the acquisition notification issued by the first respondent-State Government for the benefit of the respondent No.6-Bangalore Development Authority being quashed at the hands of this Court.
2. This Court had requested the learned counsel for respondent No.6-BDA to secure instructions and make
submissions as to whether the statements made by the

petitioners that the acquisition notifications have been quashed at the hands of this Court and have been confirmed at the hands of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
3. Learned Counsel Sri K.Krishna, appearing for the respondent-BDA submits on instructions that the statements made in the writ petitions are correct. The acquisition proceedings have been quashed and confirmed at the hands of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in a SLP (C)No.28329/2018 dated 14.09.2017 and the review petition filed in SLP (C) Nos.26800-26805/2018 dated
13.08.2025.
4. In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands
disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4- Tahsildar, Bengaluru South Taluk to proceed to re-enter the names of the petitioners in the computerized RTC in Column Nos.9 and 12, while removing the name of the Bangalore Development Authority from the RTC. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as

possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
