The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Khunti PS Case No.132 of 2025, for offence registered under section 115(2), 316(2), 318(4), 322, 338, 336(3), 340(2), 351(2), 351(3) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be Mukhia and the allegations are made that the petitioner has signed on the genealogical table. He next submits that the allegation is also made of selling the land on the forged power of attorney. He next submits that the other co-accused persons who happened to be the witnesses to the sale deed as well as the purchasers have been granted anticipatory bail in ABA No.1753 of 2026, ABA No.3723 of 2026 and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.11 of the 2026:JHHC:21607 2 petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the allegations are there of signing on the genealogical table. 5. Considering that the petitioner is the Mukhia and only allegation is made that he has signed on the genealogical table and the allegation of creating the forged power of attorney is not there against him and other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail as aforesaid, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Khunti PS Case No.132 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
