Neutral Citation 2026:JHHC:7013 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 10861 of 2025 Pator Honhaga --- --- Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand --- --- Opposite Party --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Mukesh Kr. Dubey, Adv. For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 04/16.03.2026 Heard Mr. Mukesh Kr. Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Karaikela P.S. Case No. 29/2020. The son of the informant was suspected to have been abducted by the petitioner and a girl with whom the petitioner as well as the son of the informant were having an affair. Although it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the girl, namely, Madhe Diggi has been granted bail in B.A. No. 10606 of 2025, but regard being had to the fact that on confession of the petitioner, a skeleton was recovered and the bone report indicates the time since death as 5 years 6 months which co-relates with the disappearance of the son of the informant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated- 16th March, 2026. Preet/- Uploaded on: 17 /03//2026.
