The present writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to conduct review DPC and the petitioner may be considered for post of Principal as per seniority cum gradation list dated 25/11/2024. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to take action on their letter dated 18/08/2025. 10.3 Any other writ or writs, direction or directions which the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be passed. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's representation seeking consideration for review DPC has already been considered by the Directorate of Public Instructions (DPI), as is evident from Annexure P-1 (page 10). However, the decision taken thereon has not yet been communicated to the petitioner. 3. Learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions, submits that from the list of applicants who had submitted representations relating to promotion, the name of the petitioner appears at Serial No. 79. He further submits that if the petitioner approaches the 3 / 3 office of the DPI, the decision taken on his representation shall be communicated to him within a period of three weeks. 4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned State counsel and without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director, Public Instructions (DPI), to communicate/intimate to the petitioner the decision taken on his representation, as reflected in Annexure P-1, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
