This is an office reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 12.03.2025 passed in MCRC No. 1641 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Pawan Khatri had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 12.03.2025. 4. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bilaspur District- Bilaspur KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.05.2026 has requested for grant of three month’s additional time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that in the present case, apart from dealing with matters pertaining to the Traffic Virtual Court and Cyber Crime cases, the learned trial Court is also entrusted with cases instituted by the Excise Department, Traffic Police, Police Station Civil Lines and City Kotwali. It is further revealed that approximately 2,400 criminal cases are presently pending before the trial Court concerned. Owing to the heavy pendency of cases and the non-availability of witnesses on the dates fixed, delay has occurred in the progress and disposal of the present case. The learned trial Court has further submitted that sincere efforts are being made to conclude the matter expeditiously in compliance with the directions issued by this Court. Therefore, the learned he has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of three months for concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
