PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein/A2 and A3 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.35 of 2022 of Manubolu Police Station, SPSR Nellore district, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submits that the police, after conducting investigation, filed charge sheet in the above crime, which was taken on file as CC No.808 of 2022 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Gudur. He further submits that the said case ended in acquittal on 10.06.2025 and, in view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the Criminal Petition and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
