Learned counsel for the petitioner while reiterating the contents of the affidavit contended that the impugned proceedings dated 17.05.2023 have been issued to the petitioner suspending his authorization as Fair Price Shop Dealer. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner approached this Court by filing the present writ petition and this Court, on 22.06.2023 passed interim orders. She further submitted that though three years have been lapsed, the respondents did not choose to file their counter. In view of the same, prayed to dispose of the writ petition treating interim orders as final orders. 4. On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies submitted that the enquiry is in process and the authorities would conclude the enquiry, accordingly, prayed to pass appropriate orders. 4 5. Perused the record and considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties. 6. Not concluding the enquiry pending against the petitioner, despite lapse of considerable time is the grievance of the petitioner. This Court, on 22.06.2023 granted interim orders suspending the proceedings dated 17.05.2023 and directing the petitioner to continue as Fair Price Shop Dealer. Though three years have been lapsed, the enquiry was not completed so far. However, as the respondent authorities have an intention to conclude the enquiry, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending, as such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by passing the following order: “The respondent authorities are directed to conclude the enquiry within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the outcome of the enquiry, the interim orders granted by the Court dated 22.06.2023 shall stand continued.” 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI Date: 29th January, 2026 RKS
