Mr. Sikandar Bhushan, learned Deputy Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner has the grievance to the notification dated 29th August, 2026 (Annexure P-1), whereunder he has been transferred from DIET Kullu to GSSS Jana, District Kullu vice respondent No. 4. The incumbency position of the petitioner reflected in the petition indicates that petitioner remained posted at DIET Kullu for more than 8 years, with effect from June 2012 to September 2020. He was 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 again brought back to DIET Kullu in March 2022 and is serving there ever since. Under the impugned notification, petitioner has been transferred from DIET Kullu again to a place in District Kullu. 3. In the given facts and circumstances, taking note of petitioner's previous long incumbency at DIET Kullu, his transfer from the aforesaid place cannot be faulted. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is due to retire within next 2 years. If that is so, it is for the petitioner to represent to the competent authority. In case, the petitioner submits such representation to the respondents/competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law and applicable policy.
