JUSTICE JAYANT BANERJI ORAL ORDER Even though the matter is actually under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, this petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: (a) Issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ order or direction quashing the impugned order passed by Civil Judge and JMFC, at Mandya in O.S.No.419/2025 dt.09.01.2026 vide Annexure-'A'; (b) Issue a Writ of Mandamus allowing the IA filed by the Defendant/Petitioner under Section-151 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking leave to file the Written Statement and permit the Defendant to file the Written Statement; (c) Grant such other writ order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and appropriate on the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. A memo has been filed today in Court stating that this petition does not survive in view of a subsequent writ petition filed by the petitioner in Writ Petition No.15880/2026 challenging the notification on the Karnataka Amendment Act, 2024 (Notification No. LAW-LCE/281/2024). 3.
