ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; (1) Direct the respondents by the issuance of a writ of mandamus, to extend to the petitioner police protection, as has been sought by her in her representations dated 21.04.2026 vide Annexure-D; dated 29.04.2026 vide Annexure-E; dated 09.05.2026 vide Annexure-G; and dated 15.05.2026 vide Annexure-J; and in view of the judicial order dated 2nd June 2023 vide Annexure-A passed by the

XLIV Additional City Civil & Sessions Judge, Bangalore, in Execution Case No.1201/2022 on his file;
(ii) direct by the issuance of a writ of mandamus that an appropriate enquiry be held against all the officials concerned who have neglected to extend police protection to the petitioner and have thus shown dereliction of their official duties;
(iii) and grant such other orders, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, and expedient in the totality of the circumstances of the case, including the award of exemplary costs of this petition, in the interest of justice and equity.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is despite the order dated 02.06.2023 passed by the XLIV Additional City Civil and City Judge Bengaluru in Execution No.1201 of 2022, the respondent-Police Authorities have not provided police assistance.
3. A perusal of the aforesaid order indicates that the Execution Court has
directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police South, Assistant Commissioner of Police South and Puttenahalli Police Station to provide police protection to the decree holder to enjoy her property without interference from the judgment debtor.
4. Once an order has been passed by a Court of law, it is but required for the police authorities to implement the same. Such an order has been passed on 02.06.2023, despite several representations which

have been submitted by the petitioners on 21.04.2026 at Annexure-D, 29.04.2026 at Annexure- E, 09.05.2026 at Annexure-G and 15.05.2026 at Annexure-J have not been positively answered by the respondents.
5. In that view of the matter, this Court passes the following;
ORDER i. The writ petition allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.04.2026 at Annexure-D, 29.04.2026 at Annexure-E, 09.05.2026 at Annexure-G and 15.05.2026 at Annexure-J and Act on the order dated 02.06.2023 passed by XLIV Additional City Civil and City Judge Bengaluru in Execution No.1201 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
