Also heard Shri Praveen Das, learned Addl AG, appearing for the respondents/State. 1. Petitioners have filed the present petition for the following reliefs:- “i. This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order, or direction quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 29.05.2026 (Annexure P1 colly) passed by the Respondent No.3 – Chief Executive officer, Janpad Panchayat Wardrafnagar, whereby direction has been issued to the Station House Officer, Police Station Raghunathnagar to register a First Information Report against the petitioners; ii. This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order, or direction, restraining the Respondent No.7 – Station House Officer, Police Station Raghunathnagar from taking any consequential coercive actions, or registering any criminal complaint/FIR against the petitioners. iii. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any such other relief in favour of petitioner as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned State counsel would submit on instructions that the SHO concerned has informed that the impugned order (Annexure P1 colly) dated 29.05.2026 has been withdrawn and nothing remains to continue this petition. In view of above submission made by learned State counsel, learned Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to avail the remedy as and when occasion arises. 4.
