Also heard Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- Page No.# 2/2 arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Projit Swargiary who is apprehending arrest in connection with the Biswanath Chariali P.S. Case No. 27/2025, registered under Sections 64(1) of the BNS, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in the above noted case, vide Charge-Sheet No. 44/2026, dated 27.03.2026. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below for his regular bail in said Biswanath Chariali P.S. Case No. 27/2025. The interim bail, granted to the present petitioner may be extended for another fifteen (15) days, enabling him to appear before the learned Trial Court below, with a regular bail application.
