5. Now, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 5th May, 2026, which has been placed on record as Annexure P-4 to the petition. 6. In terms of the settlement agreement, respondent no.2 had agreed to withdraw the present FIR and other pending proceedings. 7. The petitioner is present in Court through video conferencing and has been identified by his counsel and the Investigating Officer (‘IO’). 8. The petitioner, on account of his acts and omissions has taken up considerable time of the police and the courts in the present matter. In these circumstances, the petitioner would be liable to pay costs, which would be utilized for socially beneficial causes. 11. Accordingly, the present proceedings under FIR No.173/2024 registered at Police Station Bindapur and all proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed subject to the petitioner paying costs of Rs.20,000/- to This is a digitally signed order.
