Heard. 2. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs : 10.1) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to grant compensation and alternate allot the land as exchange for utilized the land for construction of road as per demarcation report. 10.2) That, other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased a piece of land vide a sale deed dated 20.1.2014. However, despite this fact, the concerned Gram Panchayat has proposed construction of a WBM road on the subject land and has 3 taken over the same on the ground that it was already being used as Nistari land. 4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a WBM road has already been constructed over the subject land by respondent No.6- CEO, Janpad Panchayat, Takhatpur, and the same is being utilized by the villagers. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed representation(s) dated 13.10.2021, which is still pending consideration before the Collector, Bilaspur as well as the SDO(R), Takhatpur. He makes a limited prayer to dispose of this petition with a direction to the concerned authority to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law. 6. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent authorities i.e. the concerned Collector and the concerned SDO(R) to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner expeditiously.
