This writ petition has been filed by two members serving in the Territorial Army. 2. Learned advocate representing the Union of India raises a preliminary objection with regard to the maintainability of the writ petition before this Court. 3. The Court is of the opinion that the petitioners ought to approach the Armed Forces Tribunal for relief. The Writ Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India will not be the appropriate forum to adjudicate the dispute involved in the instant writ petition. 4. The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the competent forum for relief in accordance with law, if so advised. Page 2 5.
