By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction towards the respondent to conclude the departmental enquiry pending pursuant to the charge-sheet dated 11.09.2018 issued by the respondent to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the enquiry report in the said disciplinary proceedings has already been submitted before the competent authority; however, no final decision has yet been taken by the respondent. 3. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions, submits that although the enquiry report has already been submitted before the competent disciplinary authority, no final order has been passed so far. However, the same shall be passed within a period of four weeks. 4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the State on instructions, the writ petition is disposed of with a 3 direction to respondent No. 1 to pass a final order pursuant to the enquiry report dated 11.09.2024 (Annexure P/8). 5.
