JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) Issue a WRIT IN THE NATURE OF MANDAMUS directing all the Respondent Nos.1 to 12 to grant police protection to the petitioner for the protection of his life and property as there is a great threat for the life and property of the petitioner by the Respondent Nos.13 to 16 and to pass a kind, appropriate and necessary order to the Respondent Nos.1 to 12 to take very stringent and immediate action to register a fir against the Respondent Nos.13 to 16 for the offence of criminal trespass and criminal intimidation as they are trying to knock of the property of the petitioner by colluding with each other ii) Issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 12 to grant police protection to the petitioners for fresh Podi and Hadbast process, based on the kind Order of the Honourable DDLR Court, dated 25.11.2025 Annexure-Z, furnished for the kind perusal of this Honorable court. iii) Pass such order/s as the petitioner is entitled based on the facts an circumstances of the case including exemplary cost in the interest of justice and equity. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27729 WP No. 6100 of 2026 2. The contention of the Petitioner is that respondent Nos.13 to 16 are seeking to interfere with the possession of the petitioner and have also encroached upon the petitioner's property in land bearing Survey No.133 and they are not permitting the jurisdictional Deputy Director of Land Records (DDLR) to carry out Hudbast. 3. If at all, the grievance of the Petitioner is as regards encroachment and/or interference with the physical possession of the property belonging to the Petitioner. The Petitioner is required to file appropriate proceedings seeking for appropriate relief rather than approaching the police for police protection as sought to be done in the present matter.
