$~13 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI # CNR No. DLHC010867342025 + CRL.M.C. 7847/2025 YOGESH KUMAR .....Petitioner Through: Ms. Swati Rathi, Ms. Chetishtha, Mr. Prem Sood, Ms. Priyadarshani, Advs versus STATE NCT OF DELHI AND ANR .....Respondents Through: Mr. Naresh Kumar Chahar, APP W/SI Jyoti, P.S. Kanjhawala. CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MANMEET PRITAM SINGH ARORA O R D E R % 05.10.2026 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that she seeks further time to comply with the order dated 16.12.2025. She submits that the deceased had five legal heirs, however only one legal heir has been impleaded. 2. This Court has perused the MoU dated 12.09.025 and notes that the amount of compensation offered by the petitioner to the family of the deceased is not even in conformity with the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923. 3. The settlement therefore does not appear as fair and legal. This Court finds no merit in this quashing petition filed on the basis of the said MoU. 4. In case, petitioner enters into any fresh settlement with all the legal heirs of the deceased, the said settlement will be evaluated on its own merits. This is a digitally signed order.
