HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12828 WP No. 7059 of 2026
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Notice to respondent No.4 is not necessary for the following reasons.
2. The petitioner seems to be aggrieved by the fact that respondent No.4 filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.1898/2025 seeking a writ of mandamus directing the Tahsildar and the Assistant Director of Land Records to consider the representation given by respondent No.4. Accordingly the writ petition was disposed of on 09.07.2025 directing the Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk and the Assistant Director of Land Records, Devanahalli Taluk to consider the representations given by the petitioner along with his family members and dispose of the same within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Pursuant to the said orders the petitioner has given the representation at Annexure-G dated 15.12.2025 to the Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk requesting him not to entertain any representation given by respondent No.4.

3. The prayer sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. It is clear from the representation at Annexure-G that the land in question is already notified and acquired for the benefit of the KIADB and award has been determined and compensation has been deposited before the competent Court. That being the position, if there are rival claims for the compensation, the matters shall be referred to the competent Court to decide as to who is entitled for the compensation. The petitioner will have to take steps accordingly. With these observations the writ petition stands
disposed of. Sd/- (R DEVDAS) JUDGE GPG List No.: 1 Sl No.: 16
