This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the order dated 04.02.2026, passed by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, whereby the petitioners have been stopped from sowing summer paddy in their fields except in those fields which are water logged. 4. This Court vide order dated directed the petitioner to file supplementary affidavit for bringing on record the order dated 04.02.2026, passed by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar. The supplementary affidavit is now filed, which is taken on record. 5. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by this Court’s judgment in WPMS No.612 of 2026 and batch of writ petitions, Charanjeet Singh and others Vs. Chief Agriculture Officer and others. 6. In such view of the matter the writ petition stands decided in terms of aforesaid judgment and order in WPMS No.612 of 2026 and batch of writ petitions, 2 Charanjeet Singh and others Vs. Chief Agriculture Officer and others. 7. Accordingly the writ petition stands allowed. The order dated 04.02.2026 passed by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, is hereby quashed. The petitioners are permitted to sow the summer paddy in their fields of their own choice irrespective of the fact that the land is water logged or not. 8. All pending applications stand disposed of.
