GP FOR REVENUE 4 The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent Nos.1 to 6 and the learned counsel appearing for the 7th respondent. 2. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in trying to dispossess the petitioners from the land to an extent of Ac.2.48 cents in Sy.No.243/3 of Cherlopalle Village, Tirupati Rural Mandal, Tirupati District (erstwhile Chittoor District) pending appeal dated 15.04.2026 before the 2nd respondent. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners preferred appeal before the 2nd respondent dated 15.04.2026 and the same is pending. While so, at the behest of the 7th respondent, the 6th respondent is threatening to dispossess the petitioners. 4. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submits that the appeal of the petitioners will be dealt with by the 2nd respondent following the due procedure. 5. The learned counsel for the 7th respondent submits that there is an injunction suit pending between the parties before the competent civil court and the ad-interim injunction is in favour of the 7th respondent. 5 6. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, since the appeal is pending before the 2nd respondent, it is just and necessary to dispose of the same in accordance with law to meet the ends of justice. For the said purpose, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the appeal of the petitioners dated 15.04.2026 strictly in accordance with law by hearing all the parties concerned including the petitioners and the 7th respondent herein, upon verification of the records and the subject land, appropriate decision shall be taken on its own merits as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of this order. In the meanwhile, there shall be an order of status quo as on today to be maintained with respect to the mutation of the names of the parties concerned for the subject land covered under the said appeal. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Interim order, if any, deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
