Kazi Sajjad Alam …for respondent nos.5 & 6. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner participated in an e-tender floated by Mankanali Gram Panchayat upon complying with requisite formalities. His bid was rejected by the Panchayat in terms of a resolution dated 26th February, 2026. The petitioner submitted a representation before the Panchayat Samity on 5th March, 2026 against the action of the Panchayat Pradhan in rejecting the bid of the petitioner and allowing the same in favour of his chosen person. The representation is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same. Learned counsel for the respondent nos.5 & 6 submits, on instructions, that the work order has already been issued and payment disbursed upon completion of the work. 2 Be that as it may, since the representation submitted by the petitioner before the concerned authority is still pending, the Executive Officer, Bankura-II Panchayat Samity, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
