This present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following reliefs :- “The Hon’ble Court may issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the Ambikapur to Patthalgaon and one return trip daily and to grant the same in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner has filed an application before the Regional Transport Authority, Nava Raipur (C.G. way back on 25.03.2026, however, till date the same has not been decided and as a result of which the petitioner is facing difficulty, therefore, he prays that the respondent authorities may be directed to consider and decide the same as early as possible. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the application of the petitioner shall be considered and decided as soon as possible. 4. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter and considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, so far as the application dated 25.03.2026 filed by the petitioner is concerned, the Regional Transport Authority is directed to decide the same within 30 days. 5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. 6. Pending Interlocutory Applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
