4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that this is a crime in which the petitioner emboldened entered into the house belonging to the defacto complainant, who was aged about 67 years old, robbed her of a chain and half- sovereign stud, attacked her with an iron box causing injuries and pain, burned her cheek with the iron box, raped her, and criminally intimidated her. The case culminated in laying charge sheet in SC No.958 of 2025 before the Additional Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai. 5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court. 6. It is also brought to my attention that while he was taken to custody and was remanded, he had escaped from the custody, for which separate criminal case has been registered as against him. 7. Considering the gravity of the offence involved, this bail petition is liable to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed. Since the final report has already been filed, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
