Order on Board 26.05.2026
1. Heard on application for grant of Ad-interim Relief/stay on being mentioned by the learned counsel for the petitioners. Since identical issues and common questions of fact and law are involved in this batch of writ petitions, they are heard analogously and are being decided by this common order.
2. The applications for Ad-interim relief have been filed seeking stay of the effect and operation of the impugned notice dated 22.05.2026 and the order dated 12.05.2026 in connection with the proposed demolition of the petitioners’ houses. A perusal of
the record would further show that respondent No. 2 (Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority) rejected the representations submitted by the petitioners on 12.05.2026, and the present writ petitions have been filed only after issuance of the notice dated 22.05.2026.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have filed copies of all documents relating to their identification, still their claim has been rejected.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority would submit that the present petitions have been filed without supplying copy of petition to them, and on instructions, he has appeared before this Court through video conferencing. He would further submit that despite opportunities having been granted to the petitioners, they failed to submit any relevant documents to substantiate their identification.
5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, one more opportunity of two days is granted to the petitioners to submit the documents, if they are its possession, to claim benefits of Rehabilitation Scheme for Nava Raipur project.
