Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed this writ petition against the order dated 20.05.2026 passed by the District Education Officer, Bemetara by which the petitioner has been suspended. 2. Learned counsel for the State would submit that since the suspension is an appealable order as defined under Rule 9(2-a) of the C.G. Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable. 3. In view of the above fact, it is directed that if the petitioner files appeal within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, the respondents shall decide the appeal expeditiously in accordance with law. 4.
